Water and Sanitation

In the arid and semi-arid regions of Northern Kenya, water is more than a basic need - it is life itself. Yet, for thousands of families, access to clean and safe water remains a daily struggle. Women and children often walk for hours under the scorching sun, searching for water from unsafe sources that expose them to disease and hardship.

At our organization, we believe that every person deserves the dignity of clean water and proper sanitation. Through our Water and Sanitation Program, we are working to bring lasting change to communities facing chronic water scarcity.

Below are some of the things we do aspire to do in respect to the above:

• Borehole and Well Drilling: Providing access to clean, safe water for drinking, cooking, and farming.

• Water Trucking and Emergency Distribution: Supplying water to remote villages during severe droughts.

• Rainwater Harvesting Systems: Installing tanks and gutters to collect and store seasonal rainwater.

• Water Purification Projects: Distributing water filters and purifiers to reduce waterborne diseases.

• Hygiene and Sanitation Programs: Building latrines and teaching hygiene practices to prevent disease spread.

Every well we drill, every tank we fill, and every hygiene kit we distribute brings us one step closer to a future where no child has to thirst for survival.
