Shelter and Basic Needs

In the dry and rugged landscapes of Northern Kenya, countless families live without the comfort and safety of proper shelter. Many have been displaced by drought, conflict, or loss of livelihoods, forcing them to build temporary structures made of sticks, plastic, and scrap material. For these families, protection from the elements - the scorching sun, cold nights, or seasonal floods - is a daily struggle.

At our organization, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Through our Shelter and Basic Needs Program, we work to restore dignity and stability to vulnerable households by providing secure housing, essential supplies, and the support needed to rebuild lives.

Below are some of the things we do aspire to do in respect to the above:

• Emergency Housing & Tents: Providing temporary shelters for displaced families.

• Clothing and Blanket Drives: Distributing warm clothing during cold nights and relief seasons.

• Solar Lighting & Energy Access: Supplying solar lamps and small panels for homes without electricity.

Every home built, every blanket distributed, and every family sheltered brings us closer to a future where no one is left in the cold.
